Open Osh Park
For the UNDP project Open Osh
SILK was hired by the United Nations Development Program to develop a vision for the new park in the center of Osh city in the Southern Kyrgyzstan. The project is titled Open Osh and involves a number of other activities aimed at unveiling this ancient city from many different angles.
For the creation of a new park, we proposed to use the area on the slope near the old bridge over the Ak-Buura River. It has many trees and our vision preserves almost all of them.

The design has been completed, shared with city residents at the community meetings and updated to accommodate the requests of participants. Currently, UNDP and main actors of the Open Osh project are searching for funding to implement this vision.
